Alliance Defending Freedom

Alliance Defending Freedom is a nonprofit legal organization headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. It litigates and advocates on issues including religious freedom, free speech, the sanctity of life, marriage and family, and parental rights. The organization was incorporated in 1993 and describes itself as the world's largest legal organization working in this space, with additional offices in Washington, D.C. and New York and an international affiliate based in Vienna, Austria.
