Anderson University SC

Anderson University is a private, Christian university in Anderson, South Carolina, affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. It traces its origins to Johnson Female Seminary, founded in 1848, was reestablished as Anderson College in 1911, and became Anderson University in 2006. The university enrolls roughly 4,300 to 4,500 undergraduate and graduate students across more than 100 areas of study in 11 colleges and schools. It competes in NCAA Division II athletics and holds accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
