CommonSpirit Health is a Catholic nonprofit hospital and health system headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. It was formed on February 1, 2019, through the merger of San Francisco based Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives. The system operates thousands of care sites and more than 100 hospitals across roughly 20 states, employing tens of thousands of physicians and nurses.
