Loyola Marymount University

Loyola Marymount University is a private Catholic university rooted in the Jesuit and Marymount traditions, based in Los Angeles, California. It traces its founding to 1865 and became LMU through the 1973 merger of Loyola University and Marymount College. The university enrolls roughly 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students across six colleges and schools, including a law school campus in downtown Los Angeles. It is the largest Catholic institution of higher education on the West Coast.
