The Foundation manages a $31,000,000 endowment that provides funds for the church operating budget and grants to many other community organizations. <h2>Job Description</h2>POSITION DESCRIPTIONThis organization is seeking a Controller who is accountable for the accounting operations of the organization, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This position also would entail analysis and forecasting of the financial position of the church. Working closely with the CFO and other members of the finance team, this person will ensure that financials are reported timely, accurately, and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP). This person will be the lead on performing monthly financial analysis and coordinating review meetings with division heads.
